Ray Crowley, Faculty member, 1966-91

Long time guidance counselor Ray Crowley passed away on February 9, 2008 at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth. After starting his counseling career at Lisbon High School in 1958, Ray came to Yarmouth High School in 1966 and remained head of the guidance department for twenty-five years. After retirement Ray pursued a variety of activities, including gardening, fishing, golf, and skiing. He volunteered for the Maine Handicapped Program at Sunday River.

Ray is survived by his wife Pat, a former teacher at the Yarmouth Elementary School, and six children, all YHS graduates: Cynthia Crowley Ballew '75, Laurie Crowley Oliver '76, Tim Crowley '78, Dan Crowley '81, John Crowley '82, and Anne Crowley '83.
